Okay, let me caveat this post by stating that none of the six coins pictured here were given or presented to me for any reason. In fact, I bought all six of these coins at the Haji shop. The fronts of the coins bear the logos of various college and professional sports teams, while the backs all bear a map of Iraq with the American and Iraqi flags, commemorating Operation New Dawn. For the most part, I have no significant emotional attachment to these coins. I like a few of the sports teams represented here, but that's about it. I bought the coins because I thought they were great little souvenier reminders of my second tour in Iraq. I do not actually display these coins with my collection, though I have debated doing so. They are not "challenge coins" by any stretch of the imagination.
An account of the various and many adventures of my life. Some of it will be past adventures, while other parts have yet to be written because I have yet to have those adventures. But rest assured, my life is ALWAYS an adventure. In fact, I make it a point to have at least one adventure per 24 hours... .
